Headteacher Message

Seaton Delaval First School is a happy, caring, and successful school where our motto, "Believing and Achieving Together," is at the heart of everything we do.

I have been Headteacher since April 2010 and have had the privilege of leading the school through three successful Ofsted inspections. In July 2013, the school was graded Good with Improving features, and subsequent inspections in June 2017 and September 2022 confirmed that the school continues to be good.

All members of our school community work hard and are committed to upholding the values and ethos of our school. These are reflected in our mission statement and aims, which guide us in providing a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.
